Return and Refund Policy

1. Introduction
By engaging in any transaction or use of our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below. This Policy is aligned with the South African Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) and incorporates international compliance considerations.
2. Digital Goods and Game Wagering (Jozicoin)
2.1 Digital Transaction Finality
All digital transactions, including the purchase and use of Jozicoins for gameplay (Rock-Paper-Scissors) or Marketplace transactions, are deemed final.
2.2 Jozicoin Usage
Jozicoins are used as digital tokens to access features and services on the Platform. Once a user has wagered or transferred Jozicoins in-game or to another user, these transactions are irreversible and are not eligible for refund unless due to a technical fault attributable to the Company.
2.3 Game Draws
In the event of a draw during gameplay, a single Jozicoin is retained by the Company as part of the platform mechanism. This process is agreed to by the user upon participating and is not subject to dispute or refund.
3. Withdrawals and Conversions
3.1 Withdrawal Process
Users may elect to withdraw their Jozicoins and convert them into South African Rands (ZAR) to be transferred to a linked bank account.
3.2 Processing Timeline
Withdrawal requests are processed within 3 to 5 business days. Delays may occur due to bank processing timelines or third-party verification procedures.
3.3 International Withdrawals (Future Service)
a) Current Limitation:
Jozicoin currently processes withdrawals exclusively to South African bank accounts due to regulatory and payment processing constraints.
b) Future Availability Notice:
Should international withdrawals become available:
- They will be subject to destination country regulations
- Users bear full responsibility for:
- Currency conversion fees
- SWIFT/IBAN processing charges
- Cross-border transaction fees
- Compliance with local banking requirements
- Additional verification documentation may be required
c) Non-Availability Disclaimer:
Users outside South Africa acknowledge that:
- International withdrawal functionality is not currently operational
- No timeline is guaranteed for future availability
- Account maintenance remains permitted pending service expansion
3.4 Jurisdiction Restrictions
Withdrawals to jurisdictions where digital currencies are restricted or prohibited may be denied at the Company's discretion. The Company reserves the right to request additional documentation for identity verification or compliance.
3.5 No Reversals
Once a withdrawal has been processed and confirmed, no refunds or reversals will be permitted.
4. Marketplace Orders (Physical & Digital Products)
4.1 Third-Party Goods
For third-party goods purchased through the Jozicoin Marketplace, return and refund requests are governed by the supplier's individual return policy.
4.2 Company Role
Sepotele acts as a facilitator for products sold via the Marketplace and assumes no responsibility for the quality, durability, or delivery of third-party goods.
4.3 Return Requirements
Customers must submit refund or return requests within 7 days of receiving goods. Products must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
4.4 Digital Content
Digital content or downloadable goods (such as vouchers or software) are non-refundable.
4.5 Refund Method
Refunds, when approved, will be issued in the same form of payment (Jozicoins or ZAR) originally used for the transaction.
5. Exceptions and Discretionary Consideration
5.1 Special Circumstances
Refunds outside of the stipulated terms may be granted under special circumstances at the sole discretion of the Company. Such requests must be submitted via email to [email protected] with supporting documentation.
5.2 Company Rights
Sepotele reserves the right to refuse a return, refund, or exchange if fraud, abuse, or policy violations are suspected.
6. Amendments to this Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Any such changes will be reflected on this page with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued use of the Platform after any modifications shall constitute acceptance of the updated policy.
